The first part in the city can be busy! Shopping street, many cars half on the street/sidewalk. When you get a bit higher on the Hommelseweg, it becomes a bit more quiet and there is more room for cycling. Nice to cycle on to the Monnikensteeg/ Schelmseweg, and choose your route: turn right to Velp, a slight climb, but after that crossing to the Zijpenberg possible, or rather turn left on the Schelmse weg, a nice climb, then a nice drop, and another nice climb? Then right to Ede, round Veluwe via Hoenderlo and finally Arnhem again. Not only climbing, also very nice cycling!
Het eerste stuk in de stad kan wel druk zijn! Winkelstraat, veel auto's half op de straat/ stoep. Als je wat hoger op de Hommelseweg komt, wordt het iets rustiger en is er meer ruimte om te fietsen. Leuk om daarna door te rijden naar de Monnikensteeg/ Schelmseweg, en kiest u uw route maar: rechtsaf naar Velp, een flauwe klim, maar daarna doorsteek naar de Zijpenberg mogelijk, of liever linksaf de Schelmse weg op, een leuke klim, dan een mooie daling, en weer een mooie klim? Vervolgens rechtsaf naar Ede, rondje Veluwe via Hoenderlo en uiteindelijk Arnhem weer in. NIet alleen klimmen, ook heel mooi fietsen!
