The first part in the city can be busy! Shopping street, many cars half on the street/sidewalk. When you get a bit higher on the Hommelseweg, it becomes a bit more quiet and there is more room for cycling. Nice to cycle on to the Monnikensteeg/ Schelmseweg, and choose your route: turn right to Velp, a slight climb, but after that crossing to the Zijpenberg possible, or rather turn left on the Schelmse weg, a nice climb, then a nice drop, and another nice climb? Then right to Ede, round Veluwe via Hoenderlo and finally Arnhem again. Not only climbing, also very nice cycling!
