Surprisingly fun climb, through Klarenbeek park you briefly imagine yourself in the middle of the mountains with a view upwards. Then you ride back into the forest and for dessert you get a steep wall where my Wahoo even ticks the 12%. Very nice climb!... read more

Erg leuke klim!

Nice climb this! The part over the Bosweg is not so much in terms of percentages, but ensures that the legs are already put to work prior to the 'final' of this climb; The Hommelseweg. From the bend onwards, the percentages increase in such a way that your heart rate is guaranteed to shoot up, and you are also treated to very beautiful surroundings (Klarenbeek Park). All in all, this is definitely a recommendable climb to take from the centre of Arnhem, for example if you are on your way to the Zijpenberg.

Fat hippo is what it's called, okay ;) Indeed fat, but also attractive. From a busy through road you turn to a quiet hilly road. It could just as well have been the Eifel, because in the valley you are also treated to a beautiful view upwards. Once in the forest you turn right and it becomes slowly steep, the road turns into bricks. Great! Unfortunately, you are soon at the top.

Geweldig! Helaas ben je al snel boven.
