Coming from Gemmenich, the climb starts before Plombières and then rises nicely for over 1 km until just before the turn-off to Sippenaeken. Continuing to Hombourg you then ride on a fairly busy road. From just before the railway marshalling yard to the top of Hombourg, the climb is a familiar one. This climb is not really hard.

Two-part climb. On the one hand, a nice start in Plombières but when you leave the built-up area, there is a long stretch with little height difference. Only when you enter Hombourg you see the road really rise again and there is a nice ending. You drive on the provincial road but it is not really busy. However, wide and so what boring. Furthermore, little view.
If you come from Gemmenich you also pick up about 15 extra altimeters to come from the valley of La Gueule at the beginning of the climb.

Tweeledige klim.
