Ascent through open area from Sippenaeken/Terhagen towards Hombourg. Is for the most part a fine runner. Only between the railway tunnels and the end near the church is a bit steeper.
Beklimming door open gebied vanuit Sippenaeken/Terhagen richting Hombourg. Is voor het overgrote deel een prima loper. Alleen tussen de spoortunneltjes en het einde bij de kerk is het een stukje steiler.
Scenically an attractive tour. The climbing is mostly relaxed, only the part after the three railway viaducts is a bit steeper. The road winds up with a few wide curves where you eventually get to see Hombourg. Good asphalt and nice and quiet, so also a good connecting route from Sippenaeken to Hombourg.
Landschappelijk een aantrekkelijke tocht. Qua klimmen is het grotendeels relaxed, alleen het stuk na de drie spoorviaducten is wat steiler. De weg slingert met enkele ruimte bochten naar boven waar je uiteindelijk Hombourg in beeld krijgt. Goed asfalt en heerlijk rustig, dus ook een prima verbindingsroute vanaf Sippenaeken naar Hombourg.
Lovely quiet road where you can go at a good speed. The road surface is fine by Belgian standards. The landscape is also a plus. Not really a challenge, but indeed a nice route if you want to get to the Eupen area eventually.
Heerlijk rustige weg waar je met een goede vaart over heen kunt gaan. Wegdek is prima voor Belgische begrippen. Landschappelijk krijgt hij ook pluspunten. Niet echt een uitdaging, maar inderdaad een fijne route als je in de omgeving van Eupen uiteindelijk wil geraken.
