Nice pass, very enclosed.
I advise to do it when it's hot as it's quite well protected from the sun and the gradients are reasonable.
There is no cycle lane but the road offers good visibility.

Je conseille de les faire lorsqu'il fait chaud car il est assez bien protégé du soleil et les pourcentages sont raisonable.
Il n'y a pas de ligne cyclable mais la route offre une bonne visibilité.

To prove that this pass is very easy, I climbed it with 50*28 50*24 from bottom to top.
From Thônes it's a long straight line, with no twists and turns, and the landscapes only come into view as you approach the summit.
The traffic is not heavy outside the holidays, but it is there.
Pour preuve que ce col est très facile, je l'ai monté avec 50*28 50*24 de bas en haut.
Depuis Thônes c'est une longue ligne droite en enfilade, sans lacet, les paysages se découvrent seulement à l'approche du sommet.
La circulation n'est pas intense en dehors des vacances, mais bien présente.
