This climb is definitely doable for beginners due to the forgettable percentages. There is even a small descent in the middle. I did experience it as a somewhat larger through road with a fair amount of traffic and without very special views.
Partly resurfaced, the climb is regular and accessible for all levels with a flat area in the middle.
Caution: work in Serra Val at the moment
Short walk required
Not too inconvenient during the weekend when the work stops
A small pass, quite long but not difficult, when I was younger I used to climb with the big plateau.
The direct road to connect Savoie to Haute Savoie at Thônes, which makes it a fairly high traffic route.
The surface is good.
For those who are on holiday and want to make an uncomplicated climb.
Good road and prudence
