The "easiest" side of the Granier pass... and the one I like the least. Quite busy, irregular but never very steep, it suffers from the comparison with the other, more athletic slopes (especially the Chapareillan one).

On the other hand, there is a beautiful panorama over the Entremonts valley when you reach the last few kilometres.

For tourists, when passing Entremont-le-Vieux, don't miss the cave bear museum and the nearby cheese factory.

Le plus « facile » des versants du col du Granier… et celui que j'aime le moins. Assez fréquenté, irrégulier mais jamais très raide, il souffre de la comparaison avec les autres versants, plus sportifs (notamment celui de Chapareillan).

En revanche, un beau panorama se dégage sur la vallée des Entremonts lorsqu'on arrive dans les derniers kilomètres.

Pour les touristes, au passage d'Entremont-le-Vieux, ne pas manquer de visiter le musée de l'ours des cavernes et la fromagerie voisine.
