Le plus « facile » des versants du col du Granier… et celui que j'aime le moins. Assez fréquenté, irrégulier mais jamais très raide, il souffre de la comparaison avec les autres versants, plus sportifs (notamment celui de Chapareillan).

En revanche, un beau panorama se dégage sur la vallée des Entremonts lorsqu'on arrive dans les derniers kilomètres.

Pour les touristes, au passage d'Entremont-le-Vieux, ne pas manquer de visiter le musée de l'ours des cavernes et la fromagerie voisine.
