Beautiful climb. Nice and steady. I did this as a warm up for the all but forgotten 1984 tour de france hors catégorie climb 'la Ruchère-en-chartreuse'.
After getting out of Chambéry I encountered maybe a dozen cars on the way up. With about 6 km to go there began the first of several sections of new smooth pavement, so that was nice. Unfortunately the restaurant at the top wasn't open so no coffee for me :)
A nice climb without much difficulty, a good warm up for an outing in the Bauges. Continue to the Col de la Cluse, which is much wilder!
Ascension sympathique sans grande difficulté.Un bon échauffement pour une sortie dans les Bauges. Continuez sur le col de la Cluse bien plus sauvage!
