Route with only interest to reach the Col des Croix to then climb to the Ballon de Servance or onto the Route des Forts (Col du Mont de Fourche) or back down to Le Thillot.
Steady gradient of around 5％ on excellent tarmac but with a fair amount of road traffic.

On either side, the Col des Croix is not very interesting. The road is clean but there is very little to see along the way. This path leads to the ascent to the Ballon de Servance, and that's about it.
D’un côté comme de l’autre, ce col des Croix n’est pas très intéressant. La route est propre mais il y a bien peu à voir en chemin. Ce chemin conduit à l’ascension pour le Ballon de Servance, c’est à peu près tout.
Nice climb. You can even do it on the big plateau, at least if you do not climb further to the Ballon de Servance. Also to descend it is very nice. Look around, because the view is not to be despised.
Leuke klim. Je kan hem zelfs op de grote plateau doen, tenminste als je niet verder klimt tot aan de Ballon de Servance. Ook om af te dalen is deze heel mooi. Kijk ook eens rond, want het uitzicht is niet te versmaden.
