Indeed a terribly busy course until le Bonhomme, but after that it becomes much quieter and more beautiful.
The climb itself never gets very steep and is like the profile above.
Inderdaad een verschrikkelijk drukke baan tot in le Bonhomme, maar daarna wordt het veel rustiger en mooier.
De klim zelf wordt nooit erg steil en is zoals het profiel hierboven.
The first 5 km of this climb are along a goddamn busy road. Nothing to it. From the moment you turn off in the village of Bonhomme it suddenly gets fun. Very quiet, not too steep and beautiful views. You also get some very nice hairpin bends. On my way north I found this climb worth it, despite the traffic at the start.
De eerste 5 kilometer van deze klim zijn langs een peop-drukke weg. Niets aan. Vanaf dat je afslaat in het plaatsje Bonhomme wordt het ineens leuk. Heel erg rustig, niet al te steil en prachtige vergezichten. Je krijgt ook een paar erg mooie haarspeldbochten cadeau. Op weg naar het noorden vond ik deze klim, ondanks de verkeersdrukte in de start het waard.
