I climbed the Col des Bagenelles from Le Bonhomme after descending from the pass. The 6 km to Le Bonhomme are, of course, quick. The Col des Bagenelles after Le Bonhomme is very pleasant, in the countryside with farms to the left and right. I then continued on to the Col du Pré de Raves, where it gets a lot steeper. But it's a very pleasant sequence. I'd recommend it.... read more

Indeed a terribly busy course until le Bonhomme, but after that it becomes much quieter and more beautiful.
The climb itself never gets very steep and is like the profile above.

The first 5 km of this climb are along a goddamn busy road. Nothing to it. From the moment you turn off in the village of Bonhomme it suddenly gets fun. Very quiet, not too steep and beautiful views. You also get some very nice hairpin bends. On my way north I found this climb worth it, despite the traffic at the start.
