Did this climb at the end of one through Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Gordes (where there was market, tip: don't cycle here on a Tuesday 🙃) and Roussilon. Road surface not super, but nice climb. Still steep in places. After passing through Murs, there's a good run up to the top. All in all, highly recommended!
Deze klim gedaan op het einde van een rit door Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Gordes (waar er markt was, tip: fiets hier niet op een dinsdag 🙃) en Roussilon. Wegdek niet super, maar wel een leuke klim. Op bepaalde plaatsen toch steil. Na doortocht in Murs volgt er nog een goed lopend stukje tot aan de top. Al bij al een aanrader!
There's a small watering hole at the start of the climb in Joucas (next to the tennis courts), and the tarmac is impeccable on the first part up to Murs, but then it gets a bit rough as you start the "col de Murs". Watch out for the gravel on the descent to Venasque!
Petit point d'eau au début de l'ascension à Joucas (à côtés des terrains de tennis), bitume impeccable sur la première partie jusqu'à Murs, ensuite quand on commencé le "col de Murs" il devient un peu plis rugueux. Attention la descente vers Venasque est gravilloneuse !
Nice climb that is the toughest up to Murs and then less steep. What makes this climb fun is that you often have beautiful views into the valley. If it is too hot in the summer you can get something to drink in Murs. Especially in this corner it is necessary to fill up the bottles in time because the weather can take (too) long.
Leuke klim die tot aan Murs het zwaarst is en daarna minder steil doorloopt. Wat deze beklimming leukt maakt is toch dat je vaak mooie vergezichten de vallei in hebt. Mocht het in de zomer te heet worden dan kan je in Murs wat te drinken scoren. Zeker in deze hoek is het noodzakelijk op tijd de bidons te vullen omdat het weer even (te) lang kan duren.
The climb is very gradual and therefore not so heavy, the tarmac is very good but the other side of the climb is a greater challenge.
De beklimming loopt zeer geleidelijk en daardoor zeker niet zo zwaar, de asfalt is zeer goed maar de andere kant van de beklimming is een grotere aanrader

The road surface of this climb is really perfect asphalt; as a cyclist you would wish for this everywhere

Op deze dag een rit van 93,5 km met 1532 hm gereden met de col de la ligne en deze beklimming erin.
Het was deze dag zeer warm, op deze beklimming rijd je tussen de bomen met heel wat 5 sterrenhotellen langs de kant
Het wegdek van deze beklimming is echt perfect asfalt; als wielertoerist zou je dit overal wensen
