I really enjoyed this pass. Its two sides! They are so different but both so interesting. This side is shorter, more demanding and the scenery is more varied than on the Dignois side. In my opinion, you have to do both, and the ideal way is to start from Digne. It's a real pass, and the road is a truly beautiful mountain road with some nice twists and turns. The forest is beautiful.

Décidément, j’ai aimé ce col. Ses deux versants ! Ils sont si différents mais si intéressants tous deux. Ce côté là est plus court, plus exigeant et les paysages sont plus variés que sur le versant dignois. Selon moi, il faut faire les deux et l’idéal est de partir de Digne. C’est un vrai col, et la route est une vraie belle route de montagne avec de beaux lacets. La forêt est belle.
La descente sur Digne est fantastique.
