Why does this climb only have two and a half stars. Nice road surface, not crowded (except in rush hours). In full sun at first, then in shade. You can follow the track towards the top of col de bramont or turn left towards Le Markstein.

This climb really does deserve more than two stars. Constant climbing, so good to find your own pace. Traffic is a bit busier, but not too bad. The other side is indeed more fun.

No reviews on this site and no signs along the way with gradients. Then you do not expect a tough climb, but it was disappointing: steeper than the Bramont from Wildenstein.

Before the hairpin bend, you can see the road getting steeper. This is a foretaste of what you will face after the double hairpin. The 10% mark is reached several times.

At three quarters of the way up, you can turn left via Rue Americains and continue on to the Routes des Crêtes. Or you can go straight down towards Wildenstein, where you have the choice between nice climbs like Le Markstein, d'Oderen and Grand Ballon.
