Nice gradual climb with lots of hairpin bends. In the town of Wilderstein, the ride is a bit ambling, but once over the little bridge, it's fun climbing.
Mooi geleidelijke klim met veel haarspeldbochten. In de stad Wilderstein is het wat ambetant rijden, maar eens over het bruggetje is het leuk klimmen.
This is a tasty climb! Constantly a good percentage, the centre of gravity in the beginning and with quite a few curves uphill. The road is wide and the road surface is good, making you less bothered by traffic driving here. Definitely a must to include in your lap. Perhaps one of the top 10 finest climbs in the Vosges in my opinion
Dit is een lekkere beklimming! Constant een goed percentage, het zwaartepunt in het begin en met flink wat bochten omhoog. De weg is breed en het wegdek is goed, waardoor je minder last hebt van verkeer dat hier rijdt. Zeker een aanrader om op te nemen in je rondje. Misschien wel een van de top 10 fijnste beklimmingen in de Vogezen naar mijn mening
Superb ascent through the forest. This pass is climbed in two stages. A first phase where the road is between 2 and 4％ on a single hairpin. Then a second phase where the road rises slightly to oscillate between 5 and 6％ over multiple hairpins.
Superbe ascension au sein de la forêt. Ce col ce gravi en deux temps. Une première phase où la route est entre 2 et 4％ sur une seule épingle. Puis une seconde où la route s'élève légerement pour osciller entre 5 et 6％ sur de multiples épingles.

By the way, I found the descent perfectly doable, contrary to what 'scissors says'. The tarmac was fine and apart from one chicane on the first straight and the hairpin, you can go full speed down.

De afdaling vond ik overigens prima te doen, in tegenstelling tot wat 'scissors zegt'. Het asfalt was prima en op één chicane op het eerste rechte stuk en de haarspeldbocht na, kun je volle bak naar beneden.
A great start to a climbing weekend! Lovely weather, quiet climbing to the first summit. A nice warming-up for what is still to come, you immediately feel at ease in this beautiful wooded area with various hairpin bends.
Een mooie start van een klim-weekend! Heerlijk weertje erbij, rustig klimmen naar de eerste top. Een mooie opwarmer voor wat nog komen gaat, je voelt je gelijk op je gemak in deze prachtige bosrijke omgeving met diverse haarspeldbochten.

Very nice climb. Even in the rain it is beautiful. The descent to Bresse is of lesser quality. You have to pay attention.
Erg mooie klim. Zelfs in de regen is het prachtig. De afdaling naar Bresse is van een stuk mindere kwaliteit. Opletten geblazen.

Lovely running climb, nice hairpin bends and good tarmac. No heavy percentages so a nice runner that in our case served as a wonderful warm-up for the rest of the day.
Heerlijke lopende klim, mooie haardspeldbochten en prima asfalt. Geen hele zware percentages dus een lekkere loper die in ons geval steeds diende als een prachtige warmdraaier voor de rest van de dag.

This is why I love climbing: nice tarmac, not too steep, hairpin bends and forest. The only thing I miss are the enormous views, otherwise I would have given it a 10. This one has to be in every tour in the region.
Dit is waarom ik van klimmen hou: mooi asfalt, niet te steil, haarspeldbochten en bos. Ik mis eigenlijk alleen enorme uitzichten, anders had ik een 10 gegeven. Deze móet in elke ronde in de regio.
