Beautiful climb but the last 5 km are unusually heavy.
This hidden gem in the Drome starts at 12 km from Nyons if you take the D70 direction Bourdeaux and Sainte-Jalle-Trente-Pas.
Ern beautiful road with a beautiful nature. The first 5 km are hardly uphill. But once you turn right on the D186 in Sainte-Jalle-Trente-Pas it goes quickly uphill.
At a certain moment about 450 m before the D186 dead ends you have to turn right at an old house, there is a blue sign with a tractor wheel on it. The first 250 meters are easy, but then it's almost constantly double digits.
But you will be rewarded with beautiful views and unspoiled nature along the way. The road is very narrow but the asphalt that constantly alternates with concrete is very good only a lot of stones especially the first steep kms but you can ignore that.
Highly recommended but be prepared not to miss the exit. I have climbed with my mountain bike done with a tripple but waived like animals.
Make sure you have plenty of booze because nobody has been here before and sunshine.
Pracht van een beklimming maar de laatste 5 km zijn ongemeen zwaar.
Dit verborgen juweeltje in de Drome begint op 12 km van Nyons als je de D70 richting Bourdeaux en Sainte-Jalle-Trente-Pas neemt.
Ern prachtige weg met een mooie natuur. De eerste 5 km gaan amper bergop . Maar eens je in Sainte-Jalle-Trente-Pas rechts de D186 opdraait gaat het snel al wat meer bergop.
Op een gegeven moment ongeveer 450 m voor de D186 doodloopt moet je rechts aan een oud huis, er staat een blauw bord met een traktor wiel op. De eerste 250 meter lopen nog vlot maar dan zijn het eigenlijk bijna constant dubbele cijfers.
Maar je wordt beloond met een prachtig uitzicht en een ongerepte natuur onderweg . De weg is wel super smal maar de asfalt die constant afwisselt met beton is zeer goed enkel veel stenen vooral de eerste steile kms maar daar kan je naast.
Een absolute aanrader maar bereidt je goed voor om de afslag niet te missen. Ik heb beklimming met mijn mountainbike gedaan met een tripple maar afgezien als de beesten .
Zorg voor veel drank want hier is niemand al geweest en zon zon zon.
