Beautiful climb but the last 5 km are unusually heavy. This hidden gem in the Drome starts at 12 km from Nyons if you take the D70 direction Bourdeaux and Sainte-Jalle-Trente-Pas. Ern beautiful road with a beautiful nature. The first 5 km are hardly uphill. But once you turn right on the D186 in Sainte-Jalle-Trente-Pas it goes quickly uphill. A real hidden gem! The first part is gentle and easy, but from km 5 onwards the gradient steepens, reaching 12% in places. The great thing about this pass is the feeling of height and the fact that you wind your way through the hills, giving you access to some spectacular views! Clearly worth the detour! The quality of the asphalt is good, but beware: it can be degraded in places. The presence of gravel patches and the narrowness of the road make the descent dangerous!

Superb climb in a serene valley to the Brésil farm. Don't underestimate it, as I did. The combination of heat, punchy percentages and lack of shade broke me up 1.5 km from the summit. After a short break, I was fortunately able to continue my way. The views are phenomenal, with Mont Ventoux in the distance as the icing on the cake. If you are lucky, you will also spot vultures that live in this area.

At a certain moment about 450 m before the D186 dead ends you have to turn right at an old house, there is a blue sign with a tractor wheel on it. The first 250 meters are easy, but then it's almost constantly double digits.
But you will be rewarded with beautiful views and unspoiled nature along the way. The road is very narrow but the asphalt that constantly alternates with concrete is very good only a lot of stones especially the first steep kms but you can ignore that.
Highly recommended but be prepared not to miss the exit. I have climbed with my mountain bike done with a tripple but waived like animals.
Make sure you have plenty of booze because nobody has been here before and sunshine.
