Easy climb from the river to Bohnice. Its a good place for intervals as the grade is pretty easy, the road is reasonably good with little traffic, the descent is also not very technical so you can rest on the way down. Most of the climb is hidden in shade in forest so its good on hot summer day intervals.... read more

Great spot for interval training!
The road offers a smooth surface with very little traffic — only a local minibus passes occasionally, so it’s quiet and safe. There’s plenty of shade in summer, and the streetlights make it usable even after dark. The gradient is steady, with a gentle rise toward the top, ideal for sustained efforts. About halfway up, there’s a beautiful lake — perfect for a short recovery break or cool-down spin.

Overall, it’s one of the best local climbs for structured cycling workouts and hill repeats
