Ik benaderde de col vanaf De andere zijde, vanaf het dorp Bastelica. Fraaie omgeving met veel varkens, biggen en zwijnen langs en op de weg. Zeer rustig over niet al te beste asfalt. Sommige stroken vlak voor de top zijn 10％. Op de col is het bord van de paal geschoten. Jagers hier genoeg. De westkant gaat over prima asfalt. De weg is ook breder.
