The easiest side of this pass. The start of the road out of Bastelica is in poor condition with lots of potholes. Once you get onto the pinkish tarmac, it gets better. The first few kilometres are in the woods, and the views open up as you approach the summit. The descent to Tavera is very beautiful but quite technical (like many of the descents in Corsica). I might recommend turning back once you reach the top, as the descent will inevitably take you back to the T20, which is very busy and where a lot of people drive recklessly.
