I love this ride. It's quiet, peaceful and steep without any danger of a heart attack. It climbs up through vineyards (of course) but also fields which are just being fields (i.e. not intensely farmed), full of wild flowers and meadowy grass.
To sit on the low wall in the village looking out at Mt Ventoux is one of life's great pleasures and then the swoop down the other side to the Mazan / Malemort road is worth the trip up.

Very uneven climb with steep parts. Near the end, youd o get a nice view on the Mont Ventoux.
