Great climb to get in and warm up. In the middle part it goes up to 6%-8% but never really steep. Nice and quiet in terms of traffic.

On one of my freewheel rides around the Ventoux I am on my way to Mormoiron to have a swim in the plan d'eau there. It is warm and I see the exit Blauvac. Somehow this name has always called me but I never drove in this direction. Today (Sept 4, 2021) the climb turns steep away from the main road. It is 7-8 steeper than expected but it is very quiet and you climb through the vineyards to the village. Almost at the top, a photo with the bunch of grapes and the majestic view. Through to the village and you come back in a peace that is unprecedented. Time stands still and you feel that the residents take their rest and appreciate their "native soil". I have to continue to Mormoiron and the descent is even more beautiful than the climb; what a view.
