This has nothing to do with cycling any more. The first part of the climb is impossible to do on a cycling bike. Soft ground with large loose stones make you slip. 2nd steep part is also full of loose stones and is so steep that the combination of surface/rising percentage makes it impossible to cycle up.

Extreme in very many facets so reflect before you begin. The route to the summit is rather cumbersome but that's because the direct route from the main entrance is only for pedestrians. However, the designated climbing route is allowed (also because of the MTB bike park) and there is some cycling... although it is mostly done by e-MTB's.
Turning sharp left, you can see the summit far above you and then you realise it's going to be tough.
The first part of the route is an asphalt bike path and the flatter parts of the route consist of excellent and fine gravel which is also fine to ride on a road bike. On the steep sections, the sides are almost always fine but due to washout by rainfall, parts in the middle can be a bit coarser and you will at least need some wider tyres there.... and even then it is questionable whether you will reach the top, because while the first - already extremely - steep part is doable, the second one is a lot longer - and even steeper. Staying on your bike here is quite a challenge even with an MTB. At the top here and there are beautiful views and the euphoria of accomplishing an extreme achievement. Oh yes the scenery is also beautiful but you only realise that on the flat stretches.

Extreem in heel veel facetten dus bezint eer ge begint.
