Beautiful scenery, but poor tarmac, though a nice, easy climb.

Climb of 2 kilometres that runs between 0 and 3% except for 200 metres. Of the three possibilities to go from Ransdaal to the Heugdenweg/Colmonterweg, it is the easiest. There can be a lot of mud after rain and harvest work.

I used this climb today to train up some VO2 repeats. It works, but it's not ideal. The climb goes up and down a bit too much for that anyway and as Fedor said, the alfalt is pretty mediocre. Now in February there is also quite a lot of junk on the road. In a summer sun this climb will be a bit more fun I think. In the spring rain I didn't find much to it. (That's mainly because of the rain and not the scenery). Next time I think I'll take a different variant up here.

Gentle climb over moderate asphalt. Now and then a view, mainly to the left but in the last part also to the right. When the crops are harvested the view to the left may become a little better. Climb is hardly noticeable for the legs but after the descent halfway you have to pull on it.

Rustige klim over matig asfalt.
