A climb in the built-up area of Gulpen which is just a bit steeper than "relaxed". The start is a bit hard, after that (after a car lock) a calmer part follows, after which it gets steeper again. After that it is time to cycle to the end in the Aardaker. Nice view on the church, but there is not much else to see, except if you look to the right into the Kerkesleutel. Nice climb for training purposes (at least for the part up to the Kerkesleutel) in Gulpen because you pick up some altitude meters.
Een klim in de bebouwde kom van Gulpen die net iets steviger dan "relaxed" is. Het begin is meteen even aanpoten, daarna (na een autosluis) volgt een rustiger stuk waarna het weer even steiler wordt. Daarna is het uitfietsen in de Aardaker. Leuk uitzicht op de kerk, verder valt er niet veel te zien behalve als je even rechts de Kerkesleutel in kijkt. Wel leuk klimmetje als trainingsrondje (in ieder geval het deel tot de Kerkesleutel) in Gulpen want je pikt toch wel wat hoogtemeters mee.
