Als je vanaf het Roompot terrein richting Gulpen gaat moet je hier overheen. Als je niks gewend bent is het meteen een klap in je gezicht en een realisatie dat het hier toch echt anders is dan andere delen van Nederland.

After this, it flattens out for a while and you may turn on for the second before the final stretch towards the Rijksweg. Gezien vanuit Euverem begint de klim net voor de splitsing met de Reijmerstokkerdorpsstraat. Het eerste steile stuk zit op/net na de splitsing. Hierna vlakt het even af en mag je voor de tweede keer gaan aanzetten voor het laatste stuk richting de Rijksweg. Kom je vanuit Reijmerstok en heb je pech dat aan kruisend verkeer voorrang verleend moet worden zorg dan wel dat je terugschakelt hebt. Zonder terugschakelen kan je op deze 600 meter anders wel eens een ontploft gevoel in je benen krijgen.

Komende vanaf Slenaken golft de weg wat lichtjes op en neer maar is toch vooral dalend omdat je het dal van de Gulp stroomafwaarts volgt. En dan kom je ineens bijna op het eind dit kleine muurtje tegen. De weg (met fietsstrook) slingert mooi omhoog waarbij je toch wel even moet aanzetten. Na het steile gedeelte een kleine afdaling waarna de weg weer relaxter omhoog gaat tot de T-splitsing. Naar rechts leuk uitzicht, o.a. over Kasteel Neubourg.
