Een mooie beklimming, die wel echt zwaar is de eerste 4 km. Percentages altijd boven de 10%. Daarna is het rustiger en kun je genieten van de omgeving. In begin klim kies je voor de afslag naar Gerlosberg, (rechts), de andere kant op ga je via Rohrberg en deze is korter, maar dus ook steiler (met name de laatste 3 a 4 km). Na Gerlosberg, bij rotondetje rechtsaf naar Wiesenalm en doorklimmen tot het Mittelstation van de kabelbaan. Je kunt ook even verder lopen naar het restaurant.
