The climb is taken from Via Regazzoni bassa, signposted for Belvedere di Turri. It is a little-visited area, yet enhanced by the close view of the main hills on the eastern side of the Euganean group.
After the turn, the slope languishes for several hundred metres, so much so that one wonders when the hard stretch will come. Suddenly, at the exit of a right-hand bend, we find ourselves in front of a terrifying serpentine of a good two hundred metres, all with a gradient close to 20%, which makes this section one of the hardest in the area. An esplanade precedes the very last ramp by some fifty metres, around 16%. The climax is at the Belvedere restaurant.
All in all, a short but deadly climb, for which you need the right training and gears. Excellent asphalt and a wide roadway favour the descent. With all the climbs that there are in the hills, I wouldn't reserve a dedicated exit for this ramp, but if you are in the evenings it is really worth a try.
