I realised yesterday that the sign at the last kilometre calls for crime 😅 frankly, I've climbed some difficult cols, I did two Cinglé du Ventoux in 2023 and 2024... I've done Bonette ×2 5 times, I've done Mont-Colombis, Grand Colombier, Ventoux I've never reached the top of a pass as burnt as yesterday and as I followed it up with Aime 2000 I think I still had the Tougnète in my paws... I've never climbed anything like it 22％ it's a wall the thing is
Je l'ai réalisé hier le panneau au dernier KM il appelle au crime 😅 franchement j'ai monté des cols difficiles j'ai fais deux Cinglé du Ventoux en 2023 et 2024.. j'ai fais des Bonette ×2 à 5 reprises, j'ai fais le Mont-Colombis, Grand Colombier, Ventoux je ne suis jamais arrivée au sommet d'un col aussi cramé qu'hier et comme j'ai enchaîné avec Aime 2000 je pense que j'avais encore la Tougnète dans les pattes.. je n'ai jamais monté rien de tel 22％ c'est un mur le truc
Hele vette klim door een mooi landschap met prachtig uitzicht over het dal. De klim is pittig, maar ik vond hem heel leuk om te doen. Het einde is wel echt heftig. Als je bij de bollenfiets bent na een steil stukje denk je er te zijn, maar niets is minder waar, daarna komen nog steilere stroken naar het einde. Deze zeker doen als je er bent. Ook het "fietspad" Les Menuires naar Val Thorens is de moeite waard. Onregelmatig, maar niet zo extreem als Tougnète.

En tant que cycliste féru de jolis cols boisés et aux épingles tortueuses comme beaucoup d'autres dans les Alpes, cette montée m'interroge. Des ruptures de pente énormes sur un tracé à découvert. Réservé aux cyclistes confirmés (et aux VAE finalement les plus nombreux) notamment le dernier kilomètre avec des pourcentages énormes qui enlèvent le plaisir de grimper. Alors oui pas de voitures et vue magnifique mais cela valait-il la peine de goudronner cette montagne ? Pas sûr

Une ascension en fin de journée, fin octobre. Rien de mieux, le silence, la solitude et le beau temps. Une montée assez facile jusqu'au pied du raidillon final. Mais là, c'est vraiment très difficile de ne pas poser le pied. Le vent qui avait été un allié toute la montée en poussant fort dans le dos et devenu sur la créte un adversaire redoutable.
La descente au début s'apparente à un saut dans le vide, sur un revêtement hélas déjà déterioré. Mais quel régal de jouer avec les courbes et la pente. Mais qu'en sera-t-il avec l'affluence estivale?
Rencontre au sommet avec le longboardeur "Legende Longboard" et sa merveilleuse planche. Je l'ai suivi lors de son run pour le plaisir de le voir surfer le bitume.
Just tried to do this one after already having done Val Thorens completely, cracked at the end of this climb 200m from the top KRAMP and finito. The climb itself is on a billiard level road and forbidden for motorised traffic, great little climb but oh so hard end....
