De pret van deze klim zit in het begin. Vanuit het fraaie dal van de Warche (met bij de brug een mooie rustplaats) gaat het weggetje lekker omhoog tot de eerste huizen van Champagne waar het percentage steeds wat minder wordt tot zelf vlak. Na de kerk gaat het weer omhoog maar een stuk relaxter dan het eerste deel. De omgeving is hier wat minder geaccidenteerd dan het eerste stuk en dat is te merken aan de zwaarte want het kabbelt nog maar lichtjes omhoog waarbij de percentages wel wat wisselen.
