De klim zet eigenlijk al vroeger in dan je zou denken, met een eerste stevig stuk dat daarna overgaat in een langere, mildere fase. Halverwege krijg je opnieuw een prikkel, waarna het geleidelijk uitloopt richting de top, met onderweg geregeld mooi zicht over de omgeving.

It starts going up for a while but then flattens out. Towards the end of the first kilometre, another steeper section follows. Then it flattens out towards the top. If you turn left at the end Chaussée des Wallons towards Battice, you can still catch the last 1½ kilometres of this climb.

Je daalt even wat maar al vlot begint de klim wat eerder is als aangegeven. Het begint loopt even lekker op maar daarna vlakt het af. Tegen dat je de eerste kilometer erop heb zitten volgt weer een steiler stukje. Daarna vlak het richting top af. Als je aan het einde linksaf Chaussée des Wallons richting Battice opgaat kan je nog de laatste 1½ kilometer van die klim meepakken.
