From Wadeleux, descend Asse and start climbing Rue maigre Cense. At the first junction you turn left onto Coronmeuse. You descend a bit but soon the climb starts which is earlier than indicated. It starts going up for a while but then flattens out. Towards the end of the first kilometre, another steeper section follows. Then it flattens out towards the top. If you turn left at the end Chaussée des Wallons towards Battice, you can still catch the last 1½ kilometres of this climb.

The road climbs even before the indicated climb begins. The start is nice climbing, after which it flattens out and climbs steadily. Halfway up you have nice views to the right, including Julémont church. At a T-junction, turn left. The road keeps climbing with some nice views over the village and the church. Fair to good tarmac.
