Korte klim vanuit Montzen Gare over een hobbelige asfaltweg richting het spooremplacement. De meeste stijging zit in het eerste deel als je de bebouwing uitrijdt. Bij de huizen die na het open deel volgen vlakt het af tot de top bij Gites kes Dome d'Alfred. Met de aansluitende afdaling/beklimming van Teveld en Klauw maak je gebruik van een super rustige doorsteek vanuit Moresnet of Plombières naar Hombourg.
Surveyable climb as most of it is a straight road (a bit bumpy but doable) running up the slope. After the right-hand bend, the slope continues for a while but then it flattens out. The climb itself does not have much to offer, but the section after it is highly recommended as it is very winding, through several stream valleys and quite undulating.

Na de haakse bocht naar rechts loopt de helling nog even door maar daarna vlakt het af. De klim zelf heeft niet veel te bieden, maar het traject erna is dan wel weer sterk aan te raden want zeer slingerend, door meerdere beekdalletjes en behoorlijk golvend. Om daar vanaf deze kant te komen pak je deze klim dus vanzelf mee.
