Je gaat eerst over een kort stukje hobbelige kasseien over een brugje. Deze maken het wel moeilijker omdat je volledig je snelheid kwijt raakt voor je aan de klim begint. Daarna is het een kort steil stukje met vooral aan de T-splitsing even steil, daarna is er een stukje vals plat omlaag om dan na de bocht naar rechts nog even vals plat te klimmen op de uitloper. Sinds kort staan er twee betonblokken waardoor het stukje bergaf enkel voor fietsers/voetgangers is. Als je boven komt heb je een open zicht. Mooi alternatief (maar niet het enige alternatief) voor de hoofdweg om Zwalm uit te rijden.
