This fairly strenuous climb is not very interesting, apart from discovering new, isolated routes.
The descent on this side is safer than the southern road down to Lièpvre (which is in fairly poor condition).

La montée emprunte la D439 en direction du Frankenbourg, puis sur une route forestière. Le parcours se déroule intégralement à l’ombre et en forêt.
