I have mixed feelings about this climb. During the ascent, I kept asking myself what I was doing here on my new Conti GP5000 :) I’d say about 3/4 of the road is very poor-quality asphalt, and the remaining 1/4 is gravel. It’s a climb that can be done on a road bike, but a gravel bike would be a much better choice. If you prefer perfectly smooth asphalt, which is plentiful in the area, I’d probably skip this one. It’s a climb that can be done on a road bike, but a gravel bike would be a much better choice. If you prefer perfectly smooth asphalt, which is plentiful in the area, I’d probably skip this one. However, if you’ve already conquered most of the climbs and enjoy adventure and a bit of risk, it’s definitely doable.

I can't say much about the views at the top since, unfortunately, I didn’t get lucky with the weather. However, the views during the climb were beautiful.
