Klim vanuit het dal van de Weser omhoog. Het eerste deel loopt lekker op. Daarna een wat vlakker gedeelte en vlak voor de bocht naar links gaat het echt stijgen waarna de helling goed doorloopt tot vlak voor het hoogste punt (wat meer een vlakte is). Matig tot redelijk asfalt. Het laatste deel vormt een fietsroute en je kan de weg vervolgen richting België en de Hoge Venen maar reken dan wel op 400 meter aan slecht wegdek. In België wordt het dan wel weer prima.
