Very nice climb, the first part with cobblestones is super nice. You can avoid the cobbles on an asphalt strip there. After the short turn up along the main road, there is the very long spur on a quiet road that is sheltered by trees just like the rest. The climb is nowhere really steep.... read more

Hidden gem, from a suburb of Liege you wind up a beautiful cobblestone road (without cars's) with 4 hairpin bends, only to turn left into the quiet Rue de Belle Jardinieres, which continues to climb for quite some time.
Nowhere very steep, very special to be in the middle of greenery just outside Liège.

It's a fairly pleasant climb, with fairly low gradients, especially at the end, and little traffic. There's also a cycle path for a large part of the ascent. It's also the last descent of Liège-Bastogne-Liège since 2019. So it's not an exceptional climb, but it's a nice one all the same.
