Zeer mooie en langere klim tussen Val-Dieu en Herve. Je kan het begin via diverse aanrijroutes bereiken. De klim begint over circa 800 meter rustig gevolgd door het steilste deel van de klim van ruim een halve kilometer. Hierna vlakt het tot aan de top langzaam af. Vergeet tijdens de klim niet om je heen te kijken en kijk op de top nog zeker even een keer achterom.

Prachtige klim met fantastische uitzichten. Voordat je Charneux binnen fetst wordt je er door een bord al op geattendeerd dat je uitkijkt op les Fawes. De klim stelt noet teleur! De opgang is al mooi langs een statige muur onder bomen, sn daarna is de klim door de velden adembenemend. Bovenop de top van les Fawes noet vergeten even om te kijken voor een prachtig panorama!
The steepest climb to Privôt although the steep section is relatively short but just long enough to really feel it. After an almost flat approach, you turn sharply right and go down for a while. Then it immediately goes up nicely and that continues for a while to where you end up on another road. After that it's mostly cycling out (with some slightly steeper bits) where you can enjoy the scenery nicely.
De steilste klim naar Privôt al is het steile stuk relatief kort... maar wel net lang genoeg om hem echt te voelen. Na een vrijwel vlak aanrijdstukje ga je scherp naar rechts en even naar beneden. Daarna gaat het meteen lekker omhoog en dat loopt even door tot waar je op een andere weg uitkomt. Daarna is het meestal uitfietsen (met enkele iets steilere stukjes) waarbij je mooi van de omgeving kan genieten.

Mooie klim, vooral het steile tussenstukje is de moeite. Het tweede deel van de klim is zelfs autovrij denk ik.
Enkel boven aangekomen de grote baan zo snel mogelijk verlaten - is één van de drukste van de streek...
