Es gibt interessante Aufstiege, die nicht unbedingt schön sind. Viel Verkehr, weit oben wird es besser und es ist auch optisch schön. Einige Möglichleiten zur Rast (mit Aussicht!) Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nach Beginn der Abfahrt, wirkt alles etwas unwirklich... Zustand der Straße sehr gut. Abfahrt weiter runter Richtung Ax-les-Thermes großartig. Angeblich der höchste ganzjährig befahrbare Pass Europas (Hab's nicht überprüft)

Great climb. Some traffic/urban riding at the foot of the climb but it eases up. Traffic is mostly calm tourists. On the French side it's not nice at all.
Climb is not so steep so you can "ride" your bike, without "climbing".

The further you get from the bottom the better the climb gets. Traffic is quite busy at the bottom, but the views from the top are reasonably good. With a height of over 2400m it makes for a good days effort.
