I thought it was a nice climb, although I often had a strong headwind, so maybe it was just a bit of a bad day for me. Personally, I’d start this climb at Portée Puymorens, but then again, it does start to climb quite a bit from Ax.

I went out of my way for it, so for me, it was worth the detour.
Hoe komt dat dit nog niet gereviewd is? Dit is toch een fijne col. Misschien een beetje druk, maar het wegdek is doorgaans top. En de wegen zijn breed genoeg om het niet gevaarlijk te maken. En eigenlijk op een brede baan. Hoe drukker hoe beter, want de auto's kunnen toch niets snel rijden.
Ik vond het een fijne klim, hoewel ik vaak stevige tegenwind had, dus het was misschien een beetje een pech dag voor me. Ik zou persoonlijk deze klim starten op Portée Puymorens, maar ja, vanuit Ax loopt het al wel wat op.
Je kan in ieder geval genieten van prachtige vergezichten.
