Puur genieten.
taken from the Dorgali side during a mtb tour, it offers exceptional views, towards Supramonte up to Gennargentu, has good road surfaces but a fair amount of tourist traffic (motorbikes and campers at weekends and in summer)
A road that smacks of the epic as it goes deeper and deeper into seemingly remote areas (we are actually on the SS125, a major artery). No villages, few bars, water in summer not even in your dreams. Gentle slopes, but you have to reckon with the length. If you have time, there are at least four very nice detours (I'm talking mtc). Recommended!
Nessun paese, scarsi bar, acqua in estate neanche in sogno. Raccomandata!
A beautiful climb mainly because of the scenery, I did it starting from Baunei, by MTB and arriving at Genna Silana where I took the path to the Gorroppu canyon, a must for freeride MTB enthusiasts; talking about the climb, it is very long but not very steep, once you get to Genna Sartene more or less for the Urzulei junction, it flattens out quite a bit and becomes a false flat with numerous semi-galleries, although they are open it is absolutely recommended to use a rear light; the views towards the valley and the canyon are probably among the most beautiful in Sardinia.
