One of the finest stretches of inclined tarmac in England. The steady gradient means it's a climb anyone can attempt at their own pace whilst being long enough with enough ascent to feel really rewarding. The snaking lane up the bank of Porlock Hill offers constant vistas. It's about as close to an alpine climb as you get in England!
Pleasant, traffic free climb. Much prefer this to the main Porlock route. Toll at the top.
A pleasant climb with some nice scenery, although most of its woodland. It’s not in the league of Porlock Hill, but if you want a long steady climb, almost entirely 5-6%, this is for you.
