£1 toll half way up with coins or contactless on mostly good tarmac. The first 3/4 of the climb are in the trees with the occasional view of Porlock Bay. Very little traffic even in summer school holidays as most people drive the A39 Porlock Hill instead. Out of season you will most likely see no one around at all. Amazing climb
