A hidden gem in the city of Santiago.

To access it we have to get to the neighborhood of Volta do Castro, and be very attentive because the access is through a small alley (although recently a nice bike path has been built that leaves us at the foot of the port by another access).

Despite being a short ascent, it becomes really demanding in some of its sections, which dangerously touch the 20% of slope.

The average gradient of the section is not very hard, but it is due to an intermediate segment of almost half a kilometer completely flat.

It is worth the detour by itself, but it is also a more interesting way to leave the city of Santiago when we want to head south (towards Cacheiras, Pontevea, A Estrada...).
