A hidden gem in the city of Santiago.
To access it we have to get to the neighbourhood of Volta do Castro, and be very careful because the access is through a small alley (although recently a nice bike lane has been built that leaves us at the foot of the port by another access).
Despite being a short ascent, it becomes really demanding in some of its sections, which are dangerously close to 20% of gradient.
The average gradient of the section is not very steep, but it is due to an intermediate segment of almost half a kilometre that is completely flat.
It is worth the detour on its own, but it is also a more interesting way to leave the city of Santiago when we want to head south (towards Cacheiras, Pontevea, A Estrada...).
