Een fraaie route door het bos omhoog die deels over goed asfalt en deels over meestal prima gravel gaat. Alleen in het eerste steile deel is het wat grof en de allerlaatste meters is het wegdek ook matig. De klimt volgt een mooi slingerende route met soms steile hellingen naast de weg. Puur genieten met nog een klein stukje historie vanwege de tankversperring op het eind.
