Heerlijke klim door een fraaie omgeving en een prachtige doorsteek vanuit Aachen naar het Drielandenpunt (net na de top de asfaltweg rechtsaf pakken). Het gravelgedeelte is prima te fietsen, alleen bij de grens is het enkele meters wat minder.
