Beautiful climb, very long but quite rideable, I did it with my Rocky Mountain but it lends itself more to road bikes, you can make good speeds if you push. It was Sunday and I didn't find anyone, a few cars too, I recommend it
As with the ascent of Turtmanntal, the ramp at the start makes you want to turn back... The climb started in the morning before the sun came out, otherwise it quickly became stiflingly hot. After that, it's a long, rather rolling traverse along the hillside to Burchen, where things get complicated again. Once you get onto the forest road above the village of Zenhausern, it gets nicer'the forest provides shade and the road becomes more rolling again. A nugget of a climb
